It is designed for retrofit applications in existing substrates, hence the absence of a backbox. Itâs a perfect choice for corporate, government, retail and private residences requiring wall & ceiling mounted loudspeakers with high end performance and pleasing architectural appearance. The 601-WM offers smooth midrange and bass response through the use of our 6.5â bass-mid transducer. Our 6.5â transducer provides exceptional voice reproduction making the 601-WM a fine loudspeaker for video and dialogue applications. Our 1â pure titanium dome tweeter gives the 601-WM outstanding clarity and coherence with wide frequency response and even controlled dispersion. Mounting is fast & easy with our continuous compression clamps. After a cutout of 12â h x 7â w is made, fiberglass dampening should be added to the wall cavity to provide smoother frequency response. Simply wire the 601-WM, place it through the opening and tighten the clamps. Snap on the grille and youâre finished! This fast installation procedure is ideal for facilities where down time is of paramount concern.
