Own a piece of space history with this SHOUT/UAB Climate Single Locker Payload Prototype designed for the International Space Station (ISS). This unique prototype was developed by the UAB Engineering and Innovative Technology Development group for climate research in space. It was built by SHOUT (Space Hardware Optimization Technology, Inc.).
This climate locker was designed to preserve biological and scientific samples aboard the International Space Station. It comes as shown, including extra parts. We will also include a high quality scan of the document that came with it. This document has matching assembly numbers to the locker itself.
We are unsure of the operational status or full history of this item. The document mentions software a (PGSC) Payload General Support Computer laptop and various cables. Along with the custom power cable, these would be needed to do much with this unit beyond displaying it.
