• The lightweight 451P ionization chamber survey meter is designed to ensure radiation safety. Originally intended to measure leakage and scatter around diagnostic X-ray and radiation therapy suites, it's now used by X-ray manufacturers, government agencies, biomedical technicians, and airport baggage scanner maintenance technicians.
• System also offers high sensitivity µR measurements of rate and dose simultaneously, with the ability to record peak dose rate. It features an ergonomic handle, replaceable grip, wrist strap, and tripod mount. The programmable LCD display and audible alarm, plus the easily-accessible battery door, make it user-friendly.
• The digital display includes an analog bar graph, 2.5-digit digital readout, and low battery and freeze mode indicators. The case is made from lightweight, high strength materials and is sealed against moisture. The RS-232 interface can be connected directly to a computer for data retrieval and user parameter selection.
