[Description]

The Bio-Rad T100 Thermal Cycler is a programmable 96-well PCR system designed for DNA amplification and routine molecular biology applications. It accommodates 0.2 mL PCR tubes, tube strips, and standard 96-well PCR plates with reaction volumes from 1–100 µL. The T100 provides a 4–100°C temperature range with maximum ramp rates of 4°C per second and features a programmable thermal gradient from 30–100°C with a 1–25°C differential for optimizing annealing conditions during a single run. A 5.7-inch color touchscreen provides graphical protocol programming and real-time run information, while approximately 500 protocols can be stored internally with additional protocol storage available through USB flash drives. The system also features Peltier heating and cooling, an adjustable heated lid, programmable ramp rates, instant incubation, and automatic run restoration following a power failure.
