The Bruker BioSpin BLA2X500 is a dual-channel broadband linear RF power amplifier designed for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy systems. Operating across a frequency range of 6–365 MHz, the amplifier provides two independent RF channels capable of delivering up to 500 watts of peak pulse power per channel through 300 MHz, with a minimum rated output of 400 watts at 365 MHz. Its Class AB amplification circuitry utilizes N-channel RF power MOSFET technology to deliver stable, high-power radio-frequency pulses for NMR excitation applications. The unit features 57 dB typical gain, 50-ohm RF impedance, RS485 serial communication, independent RF blanking inputs, and integrated electronic protection against excessive output power, reflected RF energy, overheating, and pulse timing limits. Housed in a forced-air-cooled 19-inch rackmount enclosure, the BLA2X500 is designed for integration with compatible Bruker high-field NMR spectrometer systems.
