The Vishay Precision Group Model 1140 is a stainless steel single-point strain gauge load cell designed for precision weight measurement in industrial scales, bench weighing systems, counting scales, and checkweighing equipment. Its low-profile construction supports weighing platforms up to 400 × 400 mm, with available rated capacities ranging from 15 to 150 kg. The load cell incorporates a Wheatstone bridge measurement circuit with a nominal output of 2.0 mV/V and a recommended excitation voltage of 10 V. A six-wire connection provides separate excitation, signal, and sense circuits for compensation of cable resistance changes. Stainless steel construction and optional environmental sealing support operation in industrial weighing applications.
