Manufacturer's Description: The Sony SDX3-100C AIT-3 is a data cartridge that has a native capacity of 100GB and a compressed capacity of 260GB. It has a built-in flash memory chip that stores directory and operational information, which allows for rapid access to desired data and reduced loading and ejection times. The tape is protected by a smooth DLC (diamond like carbon) coating that is nearly as hard as diamond and 20 times harder than metal oxides. It is compatible with AIT-3, AIT-3Ex, and AIT-5 drives.
