Its electronic video imaging system provides forward-viewing visualization with a 120-degree field of view, while the integrated 2.0 mm instrument channel accommodates compatible endoscopic accessories for tissue sampling and other diagnostic procedures. The insertion section features four-way tip articulation with 180-degree upward and downward movement and 160-degree right and left movement for controlled navigation and observation. The GIF-N230 is part of the Olympus EVIS endoscopy platform and is designed for use with compatible Olympus video processing and illumination equipment.
